vegan MoFo day 29: Hannah's buckwheat pancakes.
today's starting off with rain, and i believe it's going to be this way all day. i don't mind rain one bit - it slows things down and makes me feel more present. i like it! so to celebrate a cold 'n rainy day i thought i'd start it off right with Hannah's buckwheat pancakes and some ketchup graced hashbrowns. these buckwheat pancakes are gloriously good - hearty, filling, perfect. in every way. brown foods are the best, just ask Panda!

I love rain too! There's nothing better than curling up with a book under a rug by a rainy window. Your breakfast looks fantastic, I wish I had some hash browns, or even some potatoes so that I could make some!
They look so good. It is rainy here and I made pancakes too. Saturday breakfast twins!! woohoo
ooo...and I just remembered that Teen Witch came on at 10. Glad I set the dvr
Those pancakes look awesome. Buckwheat is a tasty flour!
OOOh. Just had buckwheat (always reminds me of The Little Rascals) pancakes for dinner the other night. Your day sounds like a perfect day to me.
Never made buckwheat pancakes but just LOVE the dark color!
Love buckwheat pancakes! Great time of year for rain Jessy. It's sunny and in the upper 70's here. Hey no complaining but Halloween should be more spookier you know? I guess we do have fog alot in the mornings though.
I love buckwheat pancakes! They're healthy and naughty at the same time.
I had to go to work today in the wind and rain and slow but I would love to have this meal to come home to! I love, love the flavor of buckwheat. My grandmother used to make them with blueberries; it was great.
They look lovely, I wish I was having pancakes today too!
Come cook for me? Seriously, though, this sounds really good.
Oh man, it's been so long since I made those last, I actually forgot about that recipe! Thank you for unearthing it and giving it a go, yours look wonderful. The idea of pairing it with something a bit more savory is brilliant, too.
