vegan MoFo day 17: Jes' fried rice.


back in the day Jes posted a crazy tasty look'n fried rice recipe. so when i saw awesome. vegan. rad.'s chinese night i remembered Jes' recipe and we had our own chinese night. sooo yum! our fried rice had mushies, broccoli, peas, carrots, onions, garlic, scallions 'n grated tofu (with a squirt 'o sriracha, of course!). it was ridiculously good and we thought the technique of drying the rice out was really cool. we'll be making this again and again!

give it a whirl, guysers - it's perfect 'n tasty in every way!

I miss the cupcake punk site! I think I'm making something from her in a few days though, so we can resurrect it! The stir fry looks great.

Aww yay, glad you liked the recipe! I've really got to get a redirect to my new site--all the recipes are on it, along with new vegan goodness that I post every day. Anyway, hooray for rockin' fried rice!

My friend came over and we made fried rice the other day, too! Ours was good, but I need to look into this special technique you're talkin' about. Why don't I do this more often, I almost always have leftover rice in the fridge...
